Privacy & Opt-Out

Privacy on the web is a very important issue - and BIMA Consulting takes it very seriously.

Anyone deploying our solutions is bound by our licenses comply with the appropriate legislation, and this typically means they should tell you what data they are collecting and what they are going to do with it - we are not SpyWare, customers are important to us and our customers; and we are not given to abusing your privacy.

This page details the privacy policy of this web site, and provides information on how to opt-out and have no data collected about the time you spend on this site. But we hope that once you have read the policy you will feel sufficiently comfortable not to need to!

Privacy Policy

  • Specific personal data, e.g. your name, email addresses, address, geo-location, preferences, that you provide while on the site will only be used to allow us to provide you information about our products and to answer your inquiries.
  • Non-specific data, e.g. monitored key strokes, mouse movements, pages visited, etc. will be included in our continuous analysis of visits made to our site, as part of our ongoing quest to make our content more and more informative, relevant and enjoyable for you to use.
  • If you request additional information from us and we determine that your question can be most effectively answered by one of our partners we will pass your request to them for action, and this will include whatever personal data you have provided.
  • Other than in the above situation we will not provide your personal data to third parties (unless ordered to do so by a competent legal authority), nor will we use it for any purposes except those stated above, unless we have first sought and received your permission.

We use this site for testing and demonstration, and this means that it uses Speed-Trap tools. These are designed to capture your interactions with the site. This includes time-stamped mouse clicks, page loads, typing, mouse-overs, form filling etc. This information is encrypted as we capture it for your security and is delivered directly to our systems.

Our contact forms and e-mail links allow you to communicate with the company. We do not sell advertising space on this site.

Opting Out

One of the strengths of Speed-Trap systems is their focus on not infringing a customer's privacy or collecting data you wish to keep private. Our systems provide extensive controls to allow our customers to manage their data collection to be in compliance with their data and privacy policies - that's why banks and government departments have selected Speed-Trap technology.

If a site is instrumented with Speed-Trap’s technology it will normally provide the opportunity for you to opt-out from the data collection process. To control the data we collect from you on this site please follow this link to the collection management page, and choose the level of data collection you feel comfortable with.
